Everybody knows about the severe difficulties in this neighborhood: social problems, unemployment, poverty, drugs and alcohol, but also large families and a lot of immigrants

With the distribution of food packages we assist a group of about 100 (one hundred) families once a month, but there are at least as many families who also need help.

Once a month, on Saturday morning, we receive our friends, offering some tea and coffee before we begin the distribution, taking the opportunity to exchange some small (and sometimes not so small) talk, giving an opportunity to open up and share some of the problems that bother them.

At the same time, thanks to the commitment of volunteers who select and organize the clothes, we can offer clothing. After having received a food package people are invited to a hall that has been prepared in advance, where they can choose and take away clothing based on their needs.

Kyrios distributes packets of groceries among families in need in the working-class neighborhood Laurentino: a suburban zone between Via Cristoforo Colombo and Via Laurentina.
